TO ALL TO WHOM the Presents shall come HENRY KESWICK

of 3 Lombard Street in the City of London Merchant

Member of Parliament and JAMES JOHNSTONE KESWICK of

3 Lombard Street aforesaid Gentleman send greeting

WHEREAS (a) George Ford formerly of Shanghai in China

by his Will dated the third day of October One thousand

eight hundred and eighty five after directing that all

his just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses

should be paid and satisfied by his Executor thereafter

named gave devised and bequeathed all his estate and

effects both real and personal unto William Keswick

to be devoted by him to such charitable or other pur-

poses as he in his sole opinion might consider advis-

able and appointed the said William Keswick his executor

(b) The sald George Ford died on the twenty first

day of August One thousand eight hundred and eighty

eight at Hiogo in the Empire of Japan without having

revoked or altered his said Will which was duly proved

by the said William Keswick at the British Consulate

at Hiogo aforesaid (where the sald Will was deposited)
